Carry out refuelling of commercial and general aviation aircrafts at Malta International Airport Must have a clean conduct.An original copy of the Police Conduct Certificate is to be presented during the interview
Drive a refuelling truck within MIA premises in order to service aircrafts and to replenish the truck with fuel from the fuel depot Must be in possession of a driving license including categories CE and C1E, the driving license and a photocopy of both sides are to be presented during the interview
Coordinate with Pilots and aircraft Crew on the fuelling operation and behave at all times in a dignified manner Must be literate, numerate and articulate and have a good command of English;
Complete and signing off of the necessary paperwork and/or entries on the tablet to finalise refuelling operations Must have basic computer literacy
Communicate with immediate superior, colleagues and other entities within MIA with two-way radio Must not be colour blind. Employees will be sent for a medical test upon recruitment
Carry out quality control and other routine checks on fuel and equipment as required by the Company’s standard operating procedures Must not be afraid of working at heights
Operate at all times under strict standard operating procedures with regards to quality and safety Must be able to lift and pull equipment within health and safety parameters
Abide at all times with the Airport’s and Company’s Safety Regulations
Handle cash payments when required
Attend training courses as required by the Company from time to time.

Candidates will be required to sit for a written test in basic English Language understanding and basic Arithmetic knowledge (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). Candidates successful in the written test will be called for an interview. This job requires working in shift rosters including weekends and public holidays and may also include night duties.
